That saying is actually from the Lake Wobegone Tales, but you have to be special to know that (or love public radio). But there is no doubt about your children being above average. I still can't do that.
So, apparently the people who made that door mat were special and/or loved public radio, and that makes me happy because I really thought the saying was funny! I guess someday I should familiarize myself with the Lake Wobegone Tales. Thanks for the head's up!
