Ceremonial First Bath
My mom has given each of my kids their first baths. I know how to do it. I am capable. I am also very sentimental and I love tradition, so a day or so after returning home from the hospital we go to visit Grandma for the ceremonial first bath. These photos were taken when Brigham was 4 days old. He's changed so much already!

From that first picture I knew it had to be someone from the older generation, because who in our generation does anything wearing pearls, let alone bathing a baby.
It is a sweet tradition.
So freaking sweet, what a fun tradition!! There is just something about moms & the way they make our babies smell so good!!
