A Night of Concerts

Tonight was David’s very first orchestra concert. He was excited to follow in Sean’s footsteps and play the cello. It worked out nicely that we already own a cello! David has a gift for music. He can hear and keep a beat and can hear when things are out of tune.

I was impressed at how well the orchestra teacher has done with the beginning students. Even though hey didn’t play particularly difficult songs, they were mostly together and have learned a lot of the basic skills that will make them great players one day. (I can't find the pictures of the orchestra concert. I'm sure they're somewhere! **Confession: I am creating this blog post in 2021 while looking through old photos)

Mountain View's choir concert was also tonight! They always do such a great job. I love music and am glad that my kids love music, too!
